Identify two costs that you may need to consider when developing a new phone app and explain how these costs impact on the project. (6 marks)
One cost that knees to be taken into consideration is copyrighting the name and contents of the app this is so no-one else can use the name as there own. It takes time to grant the copy right which could lead to a delay in launch as you can't release without ownership without the danger of having your ideas taken. Another cost may be paying for a market research to be completed to gain feedback from the target audience a participation may be asked to take part at an hourly rate. This would have a positive impact on the project as it would be clear as to how the product is being received by the target audience.
Identify one act of legislation that is applicable to the create of new national newspaper and explain what impact it has (3 marks)
As it is a national newspaper there are many things that you need to take into consideration. One being the Human Rights Act 1998 the impact it has would be related to the stories that they are able to write. They have to decide if they story is in the public interest and if not whether they can publish it at all.
You have been offered a job as an apprentice for a company called Align Media. When they offered you the apprenticeship you were required to sign a form giving the intellectual property rights of any work you produce to Align Media. Explain why you were required to sign this form (3 marks)
I was required to sign this form because as n apprentice I don't own anything I create. This means that because I am in this position anything I make doesn't belong to me, it belongs to Align Media. Any thing I make is legally owned by the company I am working for and you can't take it anywhere else.

One type of revenue stream that could be used is banner ads of companies you approach personally. Making sure you align products that are relevant and appropriate. This will then gain revenue from those who decide to advertise.
